•“You are a ‘finalist’ in a contest you never entered, or have been select by a ‘nation foundation’ to receive a scholarship.”
•“The scholarship service needs your credit card or checking account number in advance.”
•“You are invited to a free seminar (or interview) with a trained financial aid consultant who will unlock the secrets on how to make yourself eligible for more financial aid.”

Nano Sonic Scholarship

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship will be awarded to a college or trade school bound senior from Narrows High School, Giles High School, Blacksburg High School, Auburn High School, Eastern Montgomery High School or Christiansburg High School who has shown exemplary achievement and interest in the field of science and technology. Special consideration will be given to students majoring in science or technology. A secondary preference will be given based on need. Submit a short essay (approximately 500 words) describing your interest, achievements and goals in the science and technology field of study. Also, submit at least one letter of recommendation from a current or former science or technology teacher. The winner will be selected by the NanoSonic, Inc Scholarship Committee.

Scholarship Amount: $500

Number of Scholarships: 1

Application Deadline: Set by Giles County

Award Notification: June 2016

Payment: NanoSonic, Inc will pay the college or university directly upon receiving an invoice from the college or university. Provide the Financial Office with the contact information below.
